UNTIL NOVEMBER

I think I'll wait until November.
That's the season for letting go.
It's still too golden in September.
October is not always cold.

But if I wait until November,
an icy wind will start to blow.
Autumn's leaves like falling embers,
soon will vanish 'neath the snow.

(Chorus)
November's frosted window, lends distance to the view.
There's a silent splendor, that falls like frozen dew.
The heart can soothe its aching, in calm November grey,
when summer's leaves are shaken, and wind blows them away.

I think in chill November weather,
I can forget the love we've known,
and view the days we spent together,
with a heart unmoved as stone.

Although till then I may remember,
and may sometimes sadly sigh,
if I can make it to November,
maybe I can say goodbye.

(Chorus)
November's frosted window, lends distance to the view.
There's a silent splendor, that falls like frozen dew.
The heart can soothe its aching, in calm November grey,
when summer's leaves are shaken, and wind blows them away.
