IT'S ALRIGHT TO BE
I could have smiled. It would have been a lie.
I could have laughed. It would have come out like a cry.
I could have shrugged and walked away, as if I didn't care.
I would have faced it every day. It would have followed everywhere.
Now I'm glad to say I'm happy to be free.
Now I know, it's alright to be me.

or sit alone, and listen to the rain.
It takes awhile to see what's really true,
and learn to really like just being you.
