Song: "Echo In The Hills"

No music yet for the female roles.
ECHO IN THE HILLS
Sung by Jill at daybreak after they've
slept again in roadside field.
There's an Echo in the hills, and it's sailing on the wind.
I hear it in the night, and in the silver dawn.
It's a whisper in the still, that you're coming back again.
It flows as gentle as the songbird's song.
There's a pause, and there's a hush, that comes to me sometimes,
and I stand alone and listen to the call.
Amid the daily rush, a silence comes to mind,
drifting down as soft as snowflakes fall.
Chorus
When I feel the world is weary,
and the Road to Home seems long,
an icy wind blows 'cross the window sill.
Somewhere beyond the dreary,
let me hear that distant song,
and understand the Echo in the hills.
There's an Echo in the hills. No-one knows its source.
It's an object of imagine and suppose.
Like the evening whip-poor-will, or the river in its course,
gentle as the fragrance of the rose.
Oh bring me back a memory of where the Road is going !
Sometimes it seems I don't know, anymore.
Pour it on the soul of me. Soothe me with the knowing,
clear and steady as I knew before.
Chorus
When I feel the world is weary,
and the Road to Home seems long,
an icy wind blows 'cross the window sill.
Somewhere beyond the dreary,
let me hear that distant song,
and understand the Echo in the hills.
Followed by song; "Winding Road"
Sung by Mario to get them started
for another day on the road.
