WONDERING
Many times I wonder -
where you are each day.
No answer comes in thunder.
I hear no voices say.
I know you still are somewhere,
beneath the same old sun.
I ask if you still care,
but still no answers come.
Chorus
I do know that you wander -
my halls of memory,
calling me to wonder
just where you might be.
I hear your laughter flowing,
gentle as a stream -
I see your image glowing,
waltzing through my dreams.
Somewhere I think you wonder,
where I might be too.
Time and space can't sunder -
a love, if it is true.
Chorus
Though you aren't here beside me,
we are not far apart.
Memory can guide me,
through byways of the heart.
