STRANGE JOURNEY

A Parable Of New Birth

An ordinary citizen - a Journalist - has an extraordinary experience. Suffering from burn-out, and a marital crisis, Carl Jordan retreats to the desert to collect himself. While there he has an interdimensional experience which changes his life, and releases him into a New Beginning. This is a highly symbolic story, the reader needs to reflect on Carl's experience as it unfolds, and travel his 'strange journey' with him.

There is also a screenplay outline created for "Strange Journey". It IS NOT intended as a screenplay. It is only an OUTLINE for a screenwriter to work from when adapting to screenplay. It was written by the author to show scenes as envisioned during the writing. This is not an instance when you could write "picture downtown Dallas", and the screenwriter know the scene. There is so much symbolism in the structure, some of which may seem trival if not recognized as such, that it was believed a outline was needed to assure that such elements were preserved intact.
